The Story
Ready to wake up your 7.3L Powerstroke? If you’re still running the factory turbo on your Powerstroke, chances are it’s not performing as well as it used to. Over time, wear on bearings, seals, and shafts can lead to slower spool-up, reduced boost, higher exhaust temperatures, oil leakage, and eventually failure. Even if it hasn’t completely given up, an aging turbo simply can’t deliver the efficiency and airflow it once did.
The Beans Diesel Performance D66 Turbo is the original direct bolt-on high-performance upgrade for the 7.3L Powerstroke. Designed as a stock replacement with serious performance gains, the D66 increases airflow from the factory 750 CFM to over 1,050 CFM, roughly a 30% improvement over stock. More airflow means real-world results: reduced smoke output, significantly lower exhaust gas temperatures (up to 300° cooler), and noticeable horsepower gains. Whether you’re running a stock truck or pushing beyond 500 horsepower, the D66 has the range to support your build.
FITMENT NOTE:
- Please make sure you choose the right turbo by checking your intake or compressor cover to make sure it has 5 bolts. If your intake or compressor cover has 4 bolts, then you need an early 99 turbo.
