If you own, or have simply ever popped open the fuel door of any late model Ram equipped with Urea injection, you'll think someone stole your fuel cap. But alas, you weren't technically shorted, as this is how they were designed, with a simple flapper design as many of the current automobiles are being equipped with. But for those of us who actually take our trucks down a dirt road, dusty trail, or nearly anywhere besides a pristine showroom, this is a major design flaw.
Now some may argue that the factory flapper will keep sediment out. Well sure it will, but the second you push a diesel nozzle in there to fill up, guess where all of that sediment goes.....right down the chute! That's where this cap comes into play.
Machined from billet aluminum, this cap features an integrated o-ring to ensure a snug fit to prevent sediment sneaking by. And for nothing but convenience, a powerful magnet is built into the base to allow you to temporarily hang the cap from the inside of your fuel door when filling up.
And while you're protecting your fuel system, don't forget to pick up a bottle of F-Bomb Diesel Additive for increased cetane, water separation, lubrication, and so much more!
