The Story
The factory DS4 fuel pump on the 6.5L's feature a PMD (pump mounted driver) that is prone to failure, mostly due to heat. Many times when the PMD fails, the factory harness also fails and melts. If you're replacing your PMD, we recommend also installing a new harness. Many people relocate the PMD to less heat ridden area, thus requiring the longer harness.
