D&J has created a full ready run engine that is built to keep your pickup hauling effortlessly for years to come.

The D&J Heavy Hauler Ready Run engine is designed to provide reliable performance for your diesel engine needs. This engine begins with a Heavy Hauler Long Block and adds a range of BD components to prepare it for installation. Including an upgraded Screamer performance turbocharger with a two-piece heavy-duty manifold, designed to provide increased airflow. The Heavy Hauler engine also includes a high-pressure fuel system, from the CP3 pump to the CARB-compliant StockPlus Premium injectors (up to 30HP), while a new water pump and valve cover complete the package. Each engine is meticulously built with precision and care, ensuring quality and peace of mind for those seeking exceptional performance.

BD LONG BLOCK

• Comprehensive Inspection: Disassembled, crack-checked, blasted, and cleaned before machining.
• Precision Machining: CNC bored, line bored, surfaced as needed, and torque plate honed to exact specifications.
• Custom ARP Head Studs: 9/16" head studs provide the best head-to-block seal possible. D&J ARP 9/16" Head Studs torqued to 175 ft/lbs.
• High-Performance Cylinder Head: D&J Stage 1 Performance Cylinder Heads are disassembled, crack-checked, fitted with extra-large, heavy-duty seats, machined for thread-in soft plugs, and 5-axis CNC-ported. Each head undergoes a CNC high-performance valve job and is pressure-checked before assembly and painting. Blueprinted and Balanced: All engines are blueprinted, balanced, oil clearance measured, and rings file fit.
• Pre-lubed and Painted: Engines are painted black and shipped pre-lubed with break-in oil and filter included.
• Machined Rocker Box and Pedestals: Ensures a precise fit and optimal performance.
• High Power Rating: Rated for up to 700 hp, suitable for high-demand applications.
• D&J HD 7/16" Pushrods.

BD MANIFOLD

• Two-piece high-silicon ductile iron to withstand extreme exhaust gas temperatures.
• Grade 10.9, black oxide-coated bolts, and spacers.
• Pre-drilled for pyrometer probes.

BD TURBOCHARGER

• 64.5mm 7+7 blade billet compressor wheel and 70mm 12 blade turbine wheel.
• Quick spool turbine wheel has 15% less MOI (moment of inertia) which results in quicker turbo response.
• Actuator pre-programed for drop in functionality.
• Fully remanufactured and VSR high speed balanced for long term reliability.
  

 

HIGH PRESSURE FUEL SYSTEM

• Remanufactured by Bosch trained technicians for quality assurance.
• Remanufactured CP3 injection pump with new metering unit installed.
• StockPlus Premium injectors (up to 30HP) with new Bosch OE nozzle, solenoid, and control valve.
• Fuel injectors and CP3 pumps tested on a Bosch 815 test bench to ensure correct operation in all conditions.
