These larger exhaust housings from Garrett are a direct bolt-on replacement for the stock 0.84 A/R housings used on 99.5-03 7.3L Ford Powerstroke engines. The larger housing provides significant EGT (Exhaust Gas Temperature) reduction under heavy towing conditions without noticeable increase in turbo lag. So if you want to upgrade your airflow for more power and lower temperatures without replacing the entire turbo, this is your answer!
