This complete kit simplifies your build by upgrading every major valvetrain component in your 1989–1998 Dodge Cummins. It features Hamilton Cams’ top camshaft, matched with valve springs designed to maintain control up to 4,500 RPM and 80 lbs of boost. You also get heavy-duty pushrods rated for well beyond 2,000 horsepower and 1.45″ tappets that increase contact surface area for improved durability and stability.
With the quickest spool and the widest rpm band of all of Hamilton's cams. Engineered initially for trucks that demand strong low-end torque and instant throttle response, it has also proven highly effective at spooling large single turbos, improving fuel economy, reducing EGTs, and maintaining performance at higher elevations, all while supporting serious horsepower potential. FITMENT NOTE:
- For it to be “drop in” on a 12-valve, you will need no more than .020″ piston protrusion and at least .055″ valve face depth with a standard head gasket and a 99 intake centerline. If you do not meet the minimum requirements for piston to valve clearance, don’t worry, you can still run an oversize head gasket or cut valve reliefs.
