This pump is a direct replacement for the factory pump and should only be used on stock trucks, as the displacement will only support stock fueling. NOTE Your lift pump must be in the original location located off
the back of the fuel filter housing in order for this pump to be a
direct replacement. If your pump has been retrofitted in the tank,
which was an upgrade from Dodge, this pump will not be properly
