Easy, the factory damper is at best with stock sized tires when used on smooth highway. Anything beyond that, or with some extra miles thrown in, and you've got a lot of room for improvement. Besides its stainless steel construction, the key difference that separates the Carli unit from your stocker is the internal floating piston (IFP) design.
What IFP means is there is an internal dividing piston which keeps the oil and nitrogen separated within the cylinder. The nitrogen gas maintains constant pressure against the low mass floating dividing piston and the column of hydraulic oil, virtually eliminating the possibility of oil foaming, causing a loss in performance that is commonly seen in emulsion style stabilizers prevalent in the marketplace.
Further, to aid with the installation, this is a direct-fit replacement of your factory stabilizer. The kit even includes a replacement mounting bracket to ensure you have full travel of the shock.
