Auto Meter's Diesel Tach Adapter module is compact and easy to install, designed to help you adapt AutoMeter tachometers, shift lights, and other aftermarket RPM-based devices to your diesel or non-standard ignition gasoline engine with an alternator. The module comes with a sensor that's mounted on the alternator casing, and you only need to calibrate it once using the push-button interface on the module to synchronize the alternator signal with the engine crank RPM. It's perfect for diesel performance applications that need to add a tachometer or upgrade from factory equipment, and it's also a great problem solver for engine swaps that require working instruments.
