With the installation of the BD Venom Lift Pump in your 5.9L Cummins, you may have noticed that it eliminates the factory water-in-fuel sensor built into the factory fuel filter canister. The BD Power Venom Water In Fuel Sensor Kit will restore operation of the factory water-in-fuel sensor to be used in your BD Venom Lift Pump.
This filter kit is easily installed by removing the original water separator filter and replacing it with this specially designed filter with a threaded bottom that houses the water in fuel sensor. The sensor then plugs into the factory water-in-fuel wiring harness and will trigger the factory light on your dash if water is found in your fuel system. This kit installs in 30 minutes and will give you added protection to you fuel system.
