TECH TIP: After you have removed your factory oil pan, ensure the sealing surface is flat. Since the oil pan is a stamped steel construction the bolt holes can become deformed not allowing a proper seal between the gasket and the oil pan. Also, when installing the new gasket, use a small amount of silicon gasket adhesive between the oil pan and the gasket to hold the gasket in place when re-installing the oil pan.
