Head studs are a no brainer to help with all of those situations. Head studs are an absolute must especially when upgrading your turbo and are highly recommended for boost levels over 45 psi. The factory head bolts have essentially one pressure point at the head of the bolt, whereas head studs create two points of pressure creating a much stronger hold on the head.

These head studs have been tested and verified to have a tensile strength of over 231,900 psi and are strongly recommended for boost levels 45 psi and higher. Each kit comes complete with hardened parallel washers, nuts, and specially formulated assembly grease for uniform load distribution and accurate torque readings.
