The best way to improve performance and mileage in your Duramax is to eliminate restrictions either in or out of your engine. The factory hot side intercooler charge pipe in your Duramax is only 2.5" in diameter and creates a power robbing restriction. This PPE 3" Stainless Steel Intercooler Charge Pipe gives you higher cooling capacity, improved airflow, premium performance, and durability.

This kit features a stainless steel construction that is available in either raw stainless, black, or polished finish that not only promotes better airflow, but is also better to look at when you pop your hood. Holding this pipe in place is two premium PPE silicone hoses built from 5 plies of Nomex reinforced fibers. These hoses are fuel and oil resistant and are secured with 3/4" wide band 304 stainless steel clamps.
