Overtime, the factory thermostat housing can rust and introduce contaminates into your coolant system. This issue can be easily resolved with the PPE Cast 304 Stainless Steel Thermostat Housing Cover. This cover adds style and function to your Duramax engine and is rust and corrosion resistant.

This cover is a direct bolt on and features a raw or polished look. This housing also offers an easy way of bleeding off air from your coolant system by including PPE's Black Anodized Aluminum Bleeder Screw with a built-in air channel and a Viton O-ring. This makes quick work of purging air from your system without removing the entire screw. Just turn, purge and tighten.
