The factory pedestal has a built in exhaust back pressure valve that is designed to close during cold operating conditions allowing the engine to warm up faster. The oil controlled actuator can start to leak over time and will eventually stop operating all together. Replace your faulty pedestal with the XDP OER Series Replacement EBV Turbo Pedestal.
The XDP Pedestal features OE grade materials and includes a new exhaust back pressure valve actuator and solenoid. A turbo pedestal installation kit is included with turbo to pedestal bolts and O-rings, providing you with an easy, bolt on installation.
