Interestingly enough, this easy to install bypass valve delete can keep your transmission temperatures in check in certain environments, potentially saving you a heap of money.
XDP's Thermal Bypass Valve Upgrade utilizes a straight through design, eliminating the recirculation aspect of the factory valve. By removing the passageway that returns hot fluid back to the transmission, fluid restriction is reduced, lowering overall transmission temperatures. Installation is just like the OE part, no cutting or modifications to the factory lines. This kit includes (4) new o-rings, and (2) quick connect fittings for a complete bolt on kit for the 68RFE and Aisin AS69RC transmissions.
