The Story
The hydraulic assemblies designed for the 1998-02 trucks will come with an adjustable arm, allowing for pedal/engagement adjustment, where as the kits for the 1994-97 trucks will have a fixed rod. You can use the adjustable rod (98-02) on a 94-97 valve, but it requires the removal of the neutral safety switch, which is obviously a safety concern.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- If you have an early 1998 12 valve, you will need the kit for a 1998-2002 due to the newer cab style.
- 1994-1997 version commes with a fixed, non-adjustable rod
- 1998-2002 version has an adjustable rod
