The rear housing on the LML and L5P engines are constructed of a thin plate and gasket, the gaskets can corrode and the plate can warp causing a coolant leak over time. The XD344 is made of CNC machined billet aluminum and features a built in o-ring seal for a leak and warp free installation. Each block off plate comes with a black anodized finish and is ready to install using the factory hardware.
